Pictures showing rebuilt way oilers on my circa 1910 Schneider & Goosmann 36" planer. The original cast iron oiler disk assemblies were rusty and one was missing. I made two new disk assemblies by pressing aluminum disks onto a steel shaft. I was able to reuse the original springs. planer_way_oiler_1.jpg Planer nameplate planer_way_oiler_2.jpg Cavity in center of each side for oiler disks planer_way_oiler_3.jpg Original oiler disks and spring in cavity planer_way_oiler_4.jpg Original disks and springs planer_way_oiler_5.jpg View of ways and dovetail clamp that holds table to base.
