These are photos of a large snap ring tool I made using an existing Panavise.
My first try was simply to drill holes in existing nylon jaws and insert
pins.  This worked to install the snap ring, but when I had milling problems,
wouldn't remove it (inadequate reach). So I made some new jaws of cold rolled
with a better orientation.  Now it works to remove or install the large
retaining ring.  Time is cheaper for retirees than  +$100 tools for limited
use.
