The wooden sawhorses the builders left behind 5 years ago are finally giving up the ghost. They also take up a lot of space for the number of times they get used. I made a pair of folding ones from leftovers around the workshop. The centre section has angled ends so the legs splay out at 15 degrees when extended, but fold up parallel with the wooden top. The legs are 40x40mm RHS, so one end is 40mm deeper than the other end (sawhorse2.jpg), so the legs don't interfere with each other. A velcro strap keeps the legs folded up when the sawhorse is stored in the rafters. Geoffm
