for sawing large bars, rounds, angles (6 x 4 x 1/2" shown) and flat plate.
I have a 14" vertical bandsaw, but for the larger items, this is a real back saver.  
It does a good job with miter cuts, too.  The cuts are quite accurate as long 
as the saw is shimmed/trammedto be parallel with the cut.
