shortly after the AMF fiasco, Harley began getting back on their feet.
Some new ideas were tried, including the Cafe style, unusual for the
company's products at the time.  Good machine with what turned out to 
be limited appeal to traditional buyers and was made for only 2 years.  
But it accelerated the trend to position HD as a performance machine 
as well as a "cruiser".
