Steam is alive and well in the UK.  
Some trains running on mainlines as alternative or occasional 
schedule for a small premium in ticket price, slightly slower travel.

viaduct made famous in the Harry Potter movies.  Photos after 9 include
small primarily tourist lines, including Llangollen (Pr. "Flangolflen" 
and the world famous Festinniog RR (oldest still operating in the world, 
dates back to 1830's as a slate hauler), and the Snowdown Mountain Cog RR.
