Gorton P3-1 Used in the 2D mode to make an initial stamp. Used with serial number as an ID mark. The pattern was fret-sawed out of 1/8" aluminum, flipped over to get the reverse image for tracing the stamp, and rivetted to a supporting backer. Some of the spacing did not look right, and the stem of the T was milled off & replaced. In the photos, the stamp has already been hardened and used a few times. It is in place exactly as made, as a mock up. Some of the deeper detailing and sharpening of the corners was necessarily added by filing before hardening.
