i used 8" diameter steel hemispheres purchased from king architectural 
metals in creating this stone bench/sculpture.  the stone is 16' long, 
about 4' wide and about 1' thick.  someone mentioned from the other end 
it kind of looks like a crocodile's head so where there is a chunk of 
wood in the photo i made a "tooth" out of the top of a propane tank, 
folded it in half and welded it together, painted it white.  the red 
spheres are kind of abstract eyeballs.  that's a pair of leather gloves 
on the rock for scale.
