Here are some pics of an old tailstock that I found. I was hoping someone would be able to identify it, as to what make of machine it came from. It has a 7/8" bore to accept tooling. It came with a recessing tool or something, that might be used on a turret lathe. The tailstock is rack and pinion feed. The small lever is a ratchet clicker of sorts. There is a spring that retracts the ram when you pull the small lever. The casting says, "BM-1000" on the body, and, "BM-1010" on the top cover. I plan to make an adapter base plate for it, and use it on my 9" SB junior lathe. Any help in identifying it, send me mail at doozer75@roadrunner.com Thanks- --Doozer in Buffalo
