OK, so it isn't, strictly speaking, a metalworking event. There were a few metalworking related items for sale, and there were plenty of neat trucks and nice people. One of these people was my host for the day, Leigh Knudson, who suggested this event as a way to fill my Sunday stayover in Los Angeles. A Sunday layover? Well I am cheap and saved over $1000.00 in air fare by juggling my trip to visit a customer such that I flew Saturday and spent Saturday night at my destination.
The show was held May 17, 1998 at a high school in Whittier, CA. The sun was out in force, I have the sunburn to prove it! These pictures were taken for the fun of it and I did not attempt to make note of information about the items pictured. The last few pictures are of truck emblems from the personal collection of my host.
